Chamber of Ether Terms
Last updated: 10/12/2025
The Chamber of Ether (“the Chamber”) is the treasury of The Refined Home — a vault where Marks are earned, stored, and redeemed. By entering the Chamber, collecting Marks of Ether (MOE) or Marks of Refinement (MOR), or redeeming any artefact or scroll within it, you agree to the rites and limits below.
These terms exist so the Chamber may remain balanced, fair, and aligned with the sacred laws of the Realm.
1. EARNING MARKS
1.1 Purchases from the Realm
Marks are granted whenever a summoner places an offering upon the altar — in whatever size, shape, or coin.
You earn:
-
1 MOE for every £1 spent
-
3 MOR for every £1 spent (The Marked rate; higher tiers may vary)
Every purchase contributes toward your ascension and your ability to redeem ritual items.
1.2 Missions & Ritual Actions
The Ether may offer missions, tasks, or ceremonial actions that reward additional MOE or MOR.
These may include:
-
completing profile rites
-
entering the Summoning Portal
-
engaging with the Realm’s artefacts
-
seasonal rituals
New missions may appear as the Realm expands.
1.3 Mortal Coin
The simplest way to earn either currency is through mortal coin — standard purchases.
The Ether rewards consistency, devotion, and presence.
2. SPENDING MARKS
2.1 Redeemable Rewards
Both MOE and MOR may be exchanged for:
-
scrolls
-
keys
-
artefacts
-
ceremonial collectibles
-
limited seasonal offerings
Each redemption is governed by the artefact’s own rules.
2.2 The Expanding Treasury
The Chamber is alive. Over time:
-
new scrolls will be added
-
new artefacts will appear
-
new rituals will become claimable
The Chamber is not static; it grows as the Realm grows.
2.3 No Cross-Conversion
MOE and MOR cannot be exchanged, swapped, or converted into one another.
Each path holds its own meaning:
-
MOE = influence
-
MOR = devotion
2.4 Availability & Ritual Priority
All redemptions are subject to availability.
Some scrolls and artefacts exist in limited quantities; once their stock is exhausted, the ritual cannot be performed until restocked or renewed in a future season.
Redemptions are honoured in the order they are received.
TRH may pause, delay, or adjust availability to maintain ritual balance.
3. EXPIRY LOGIC
3.1 Marks Never Expire
Once earned, MOE and MOR remain permanently bound to the summoner’s account.
They do not fade, expire, or diminish.
Your journey is continuous — your Marks honour that.
3.2 Ritual Items Cannot Be Refunded
Once a scroll, key, or artefact is redeemed:
-
the ritual is sealed
-
the exchange cannot be reversed
-
the currency cannot be returned
This applies to all MOE, MOR, or mixed offerings.
3.3 Activation Logic
After redemption, ritual items appear in the summoner’s digital vault.
The Realm never forces activation.
Our tenders will always ask:
“Shall the ritual begin?”
If not, the artefact simply rests until the summoner calls upon it.
Rituals unfold when you are ready — not before.
4. FAIR USE
The Chamber exists for legitimate ritual use only.
To protect the Realm’s integrity, TRH may restrict or review accounts that display:
-
automated farming of currency
-
repeated coupon abuse
-
excessive creation of duplicate accounts
-
attempts to manipulate tier progression or reward thresholds
-
redemption behavior inconsistent with genuine summoning
We reserve the right to adjust balances or temporarily suspend access if misuse is detected.
The Chamber must remain sacred — not a loophole for exploitation.
4.1 One Summoner, One Treasury
Each summoner is permitted one active Chamber per mortal identity.
Creating multiple accounts for the purpose of multiplying rewards, bypassing Missions, or accelerating progression is forbidden.
Where duplicates are detected, TRH may merge, suspend, or void balances to preserve the Chamber’s integrity.
5. FRAUD PREVENTION
The Chamber, like the Realm, is safeguarded.
We may:
-
verify accounts before granting large redemptions
-
request confirmation for high-value ritual items
-
delay or deny suspicious transactions
-
reverse fraudulent earnings
-
restrict accounts engaged in deception or identity manipulation
Any attempt to artificially inflate currency, exploit systems, or bypass ritual rites will result in immediate intervention by the Council.
6. RITUAL REWARDS
6.1 Eligibility
All summoners — including The Marked — may earn rewards, provided they meet one of the following:
-
have enough MOE or MOR to redeem the item
-
hold a qualifying membership tier
-
meet the ritual conditions specified by the artefact
Membership does not guarantee gifts; it merely grants access to the path.
6.2 Ritual Gifts
Some gifts are automatic (tier benefits).
Some must be summoned (scrolls and artefacts).
Some await seasonal alignment.
The Ether does not rush, but it always answers those who act with intention.
7. SEASONAL BONUSES
The Chamber shifts with the seasons.
At times, bonuses may appear:
-
double MOE events
-
seasonal artefacts
-
limited scrolls
-
winter and equinox celebrations
-
exclusive ritual windows
Nothing in the Chamber is random — every seasonal adjustment reflects the ritual calendar of the Realm.
Summoners will be notified when the Ether stirs.
8. CHANGES TO THE CHAMBER TERMS
The Chamber, like the Realm, evolves. These Terms may be refined at any time.
Continued use of the Chamber signifies acceptance of the most recent version.
