Description
TRH Price: £350 or 3500 MOE
During the Refined Summoning Summer Rêverie, the Realm flourishes.
What endured through Winter and awakened in Spring now finds room to grow. Gatherings become longer. Homes become fuller. Refinement becomes lived. Certain artefacts; by season and by alignment; emerge as companions to the flourishing path.
⚜️
“The Realm does not elevate lightly.”
There are Scrolls that open doors.
Scrolls that reveal what was hidden.
Scrolls that place something unexpected into the hands of the bearer.
The Scroll of Ascendance does none of these.
It recognises.
For there comes a moment when flourishing can no longer remain unseen.
When the Summoner who entered the Circle has walked far enough that remaining where they began would deny what they have become.
The Ether remembers.
Every Chamber crossed.
Every Mark carried.
Every ritual observed.
Every season in which the Summoner chose to remain.
And during Summer...
what has quietly flourished may finally be permitted to rise.
When invoked, The Scroll of Ascendance grants one elevation within The Refined Circle.
From Initiated to Chosen.
From Chosen to Consecrated.
One standing.
One invocation.
One Summer remembered.
This is not Transcendence.
The path is not broken.
No threshold is violently crossed.
Nothing is taken before its time.
Ascendance simply recognises what has already begun to flourish.
And when that recognition comes...
the Scroll burns.
The standing remains.
This scroll is not sold. It is summoned.
Through Marks of Ether or rare sovereign purchase.
Through the flourishing already witnessed within the Circle.
It may be claimed once per bearer, per Summer Rêverie — and only by those who have already begun their path within The Refined Circle.
The Marked cannot summon it.
The Ascended have no need of it.
And no Scroll of Ascendance may carry the Consecrated beyond the final threshold.
For Ascendance does not create belonging.
It recognises the belonging already cultivated.
When the Scroll burns, its parchment does not remain.
Instead, the Ether leaves its own remembrance:
The Ether’s Mark.
A permanent inscription within the bearer’s ledger, recording the Summer in which the Realm permitted them to rise.
The Scroll does not linger.
The Ascendance does.
