The Refined Terms of Service

Welcome to The Refined Home, a sanctuary of design, intention and considered living.

Throughout these Terms, “The Refined Home”, “TRH”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Refined Home Interiors Limited. “You” and “your” refer to visitors, customers, registered Summoners and members using our website or services.

These Terms govern your use of our website, purchases and general relationship with The Refined Home.

Certain parts of the Realm operate under additional terms:

• The Refined Summoning Terms — seasonal campaigns, unveilings, allocations and promotional rites.

• The Refined Circle Terms — memberships, permanent standing, the Path of Resonance and associated privileges.

• The Chamber of Ether Terms — Marks of Ether, Chamber progression, Scrolls, Vault Keys and related instruments.

Those additional terms apply when you participate in the relevant system. Where a specific provision concerns that system, its specialist terms take precedence over a conflicting general provision of these Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Please read these Terms before placing an order or using an account-based service.

I. Entry Into the Realm

Your journey begins with understanding the conditions governing this space.

By browsing our website, you agree to comply with the rules applicable to its use. When placing an order, creating an account or subscribing to a membership, you will be asked to accept the applicable contractual terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using the relevant services.

The Realm welcomes visitors, customers, registered Summoners and members, subject to the eligibility requirements of each offering.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, operations, technology or legal obligations.

The revised version will display its effective date. Material changes affecting an existing paid contract will be communicated where required by law or the applicable subscription terms.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already acquired under a completed purchase or override applicable consumer protections.

The latest version will remain available on our website.

II. Our Platform

The Refined Home operates through Shopify, supported by selected third-party applications and service providers.

These may assist with payments, customer accounts, memberships, loyalty rewards, fulfilment, communications and other features of the Realm.

Your purchase contract is with The Refined Home Interiors Limited, unless we expressly identify another contracting party before purchase.

Shopify and other providers supply technology or services supporting our operations. Their involvement does not automatically replace our responsibilities to you as the seller.

Certain third-party features may also be subject to their own applicable terms and privacy notices.

We take reasonable steps to maintain the security and functionality of our website, although uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

III. Conduct Within the Realm

By using the Realm, you agree to act lawfully and respectfully.

You must be legally capable of entering into any contract you make with us. If you are under 18, you must have the necessary permission and legal capacity to use our services and make purchases.

You agree not to:

• Use our website or offerings for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

• Misrepresent your identity, eligibility or authority to act on another person's behalf.

• Interfere with the website, its security or its supporting systems.

• Introduce malware, harmful code or unauthorised automated activity.

• Attempt to bypass membership restrictions, purchasing permissions or account-based access controls.

• Exploit referral programmes, missions, rewards, discount codes or promotional systems through deception or manipulation.

• Access another Summoner's account or use their personal instruments without permission.

We may take proportionate action against misuse, including restricting access, cancelling fraudulent transactions or suspending accounts where reasonably justified.

Where appropriate, we will explain the action taken and provide a means of contacting us.

Nothing in this section removes your statutory rights.

IV. Refined Offerings & Pricing

The Refined Home offers curated homeware, interiors, furnishings, accessories and selected digital or account-based experiences.

We endeavour to present accurate descriptions, images, dimensions, specifications, availability and prices.

However, colours and finishes may appear differently depending on screens, lighting, materials and manufacturing variation.

Where a product's precise appearance or specification is important, please contact us before purchasing.

Prices and availability

Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. Applicable taxes, delivery charges and other mandatory costs will be disclosed before you confirm an order.

We may change prices for future purchases, but a price change will not ordinarily affect an order already accepted by us.

If we identify an obvious pricing or listing error before accepting an order, we may decline that order and contact you with the correct information.

We may limit quantities or availability for legitimate reasons, including stock restrictions, supplier limitations, regional delivery constraints and limited releases.

Artefact eligibility

Some offerings are subject to membership standing, Aura permissions, seasonal availability, invitations or individual purchasing conditions.

An artefact being visible on the website does not necessarily mean every visitor is eligible to purchase it.

Seasonal and historical designations

Terms such as Dormant, Veiled by Winter or Flourished by Summer may describe an artefact's history or place within the Realm.

Such designations do not, by themselves, guarantee stock availability, current purchasing permission or a future release.

The product's current listing and applicable conditions determine whether it may be purchased.

V. Orders & Accounts

Placing an order

By submitting an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected goods or services.

An automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your request but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

A contract is formed when we expressly accept your order, including through an appropriate order acceptance or dispatch confirmation.

We may decline an order for legitimate reasons, including unavailability, payment failure, suspected fraud, incorrect listing information or inability to fulfil the order.

If payment has been taken for an order we do not accept, we will arrange an appropriate refund.

Account information

You agree to provide accurate contact, delivery and payment information and to keep your account details reasonably up to date.

You are responsible for taking reasonable precautions to protect your login credentials and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.

Registered Summoners

Creating an account may establish your presence within The Refined Circle, beginning with the Marked Path.

Membership standing, rewards and purchasing permissions are governed by the Refined Circle Terms.

The Refined Circle and Chamber of Ether are separate systems, even where they use similar titles.

Permanent standing and subscriptions

Permanent membership standing may be earned or bestowed under the Refined Circle Terms.

A paid subscription is a separate commercial arrangement.

Certain benefits require an active paid membership even where a Summoner retains permanent standing.

Cancelling a paid subscription does not automatically remove legitimately earned permanent standing.

Subscription prices, billing periods, renewals, cancellation arrangements and paid-member eligibility are governed by the Refined Circle Terms and the information presented before purchase.

Marks and rewards

Marks of Refinement (MOR) belong to the Path of Resonance.

Marks of Ether (MOE) belong to the Chamber of Ether.

They are distinct reward currencies, governed by their respective terms, and are not interchangeable unless we expressly introduce and publish an eligible mechanism.

Neither currency represents cash, a bank deposit or a transferable monetary balance.

Digital artefacts and instruments

Certain Scrolls, Vault Keys and other instruments may be delivered digitally or recorded against an eligible account.

Some remain dormant until activated through TRH Support.

Their eligibility, redemption, activation, duration, transfer restrictions and expiry conditions are governed by the relevant Chamber of Ether, Refined Circle or Summoning Terms.

Purchasing or receiving an instrument does not automatically grant permanent membership standing unless that instrument expressly provides for such a change.

Ether Gifting

Eligible Scrolls and physical artefacts may be purchased for another person where their individual conditions permit.

Account-bound Marks, Vault Keys, permanent standing, personal invitations and access privileges cannot ordinarily be transferred or gifted.

VI. Returns, Refunds & Sacred Exclusions

Our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy provide further information about returns, delivery and fulfilment.

Nothing in these Terms or those policies limits your statutory consumer rights.

Physical goods

For most eligible online purchases, consumers have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods, subject to applicable exceptions.

Where that right applies, the process for notifying us, returning goods and receiving a refund follows the relevant legal requirements and our published Refund Policy.

Certain goods, including qualifying made-to-measure or clearly personalised products, may fall within statutory cancellation exceptions.

Such exceptions do not remove your rights where goods are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal standards.

Digital content

Digital Scrolls, downloadable materials and other digital content may be subject to different cancellation rules.

Where we intend to supply qualifying digital content immediately during a statutory cancellation period, we will obtain any express consent and acknowledgement required by law before the customer loses the relevant cancellation right.

A statement in these Terms alone does not replace that checkout consent.

Services and memberships

Paid services and subscriptions may carry statutory cancellation rights, depending on the nature of the contract and when performance begins.

Any lawful deductions for services supplied during a cancellation period will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the required consent arrangements.

Ending future subscription renewals is distinct from exercising a statutory cooling-off right or requesting a refund.

Faults and non-conformity

If goods, digital content or services do not meet the standards required by law, you may have rights to repair, replacement, repeat performance, price reduction or refund, depending on the circumstances.

VII. Optional Tools & Third Parties

The Realm may provide features supported by external providers, including payment services, account applications, membership platforms, loyalty systems and delivery partners.

Some features may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, outages or technical changes.

We may modify or replace supporting technology where reasonably necessary.

Third-party websites reached through external links operate under their own terms and privacy notices.

We are not responsible for independent third-party content outside our control.

However, nothing in this section excludes responsibilities that The Refined Home owes you under applicable law for services or products supplied as part of our own contract.

VIII. Contributions & Commentary

We welcome reviews, suggestions, photographs, feedback and other contributions relating to the Realm.

You retain ownership of intellectual property in material you lawfully create and submit.

Where you voluntarily provide content for publication, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, display and reproduce that content for the purpose for which it was submitted and reasonably related promotion of The Refined Home, subject to applicable law.

We will seek any additional permission required for uses beyond that scope.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights to submit the material and that it does not unlawfully infringe another person's rights.

We may moderate or remove unlawful, misleading, abusive or otherwise inappropriate content in accordance with our policies and legal obligations.

Personal information included in contributions will be handled under our Privacy Policy.

IX. Personal Data

Your privacy is part of the trust upon which the Realm is built.

We process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection law and our published Privacy Policy.

This may include information required to manage purchases, deliveries, customer accounts, subscriptions, rewards, communications and eligible personalisation.

Our Privacy Policy explains the relevant purposes, lawful bases, retention practices and your rights.

Marketing communications and optional tracking technologies are subject to their applicable consent and preference requirements.

X. Prohibited Practices

The following conduct is prohibited:

• Fraudulent purchases, chargeback abuse or deliberate misrepresentation.

• Unauthorised copying, distribution or commercial exploitation of protected TRH content.

• Attempted circumvention of collection locks, Aura restrictions, invitation requirements or other access controls.

• Manipulation of MOR, MOE, missions, referral rewards or account balances.

• Creation or use of deceptive accounts to obtain repeated rewards or benefits.

• Unauthorised resale or transfer of account-bound digital instruments.

• Harassment, unlawful threats or misuse of another person's personal information.

• Interference with our systems, services or legitimate business operations.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website's original text, branding, artwork, graphics, designs and other protected materials belong to The Refined Home or their respective rights holders.

Access to the website does not grant permission to reproduce or commercially exploit protected material without the necessary authorisation.

Enforcement

Where we reasonably believe misuse has occurred, we may investigate and take proportionate action, including suspending relevant privileges, correcting improperly awarded rewards, restricting accounts or declining further transactions.

We will distinguish suspected abuse from ordinary mistakes, legitimate consumer complaints and the lawful exercise of customer rights.

We may refer unlawful conduct to the relevant authorities where appropriate.

XI. Disclaimers & Limitations

We take reasonable care in operating the Realm and providing our goods and services.

However, we cannot guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, free from technical errors or available on every device.

Seasonal events, limited allocations, digital experiences and optional features may change or become unavailable, subject to any contractual commitments already made.

We do not guarantee that every Refined Request can be fulfilled, that every limited artefact will be available or that every eligible member will receive an invitation to a discretionary experience.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, we do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or other liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms removes your statutory rights concerning the quality, description, fitness for purpose or lawful supply of goods, services and digital content.

Where legally permitted, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for losses arising from circumstances for which we are not legally responsible.

Any further limitation will be interpreted only to the extent permitted by applicable consumer law.

XII. Severance & Survival

If a court or competent authority finds a provision of these Terms unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally possible.

A failure by us to enforce a provision on one occasion does not automatically prevent its lawful enforcement on another.

Rights and obligations that are intended to continue after an order, membership or account relationship ends may survive termination, including outstanding payment obligations, intellectual property protections and the handling of lawful disputes.

This does not permit us to retain or enforce terms that are unfair or otherwise prohibited by law.

XIII. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

If you are a consumer residing elsewhere in the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction, this choice of law does not remove protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Disputes will be handled by the courts with jurisdiction under applicable law.

We encourage customers to contact us first so that concerns can be investigated and, where possible, resolved fairly.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising rights or remedies available under applicable consumer law.

XIV. Closing of the Scroll

The Refined Home is more than a collection of objects.

It is a world shaped by design, intention, trust and the relationships formed within it.

These Terms exist to ensure that the Realm remains a place where expectations are understood, promises are honoured and every transaction is treated with appropriate care.
