RITUALS OF ARRIVAL | DELIVERY & DISPATCH

Last updated: 13 October 2026

The Ether moves with intention. So do we.

Every artefact that leaves The Refined Home begins a journey of its own.

From the smallest ceremonial Scroll to the grandest furnishing, each offering is prepared, entrusted and dispatched according to its size, character and fulfilment requirements.

Our delivery framework consists of three Sacred Shipping Classes, each designed to ensure that the appropriate level of care accompanies your order.

Whisper. Refined. Crowned.

Three classes. One standard of consideration.

I. SACRED SHIPPING CLASSES

1. WHISPER-CLASS DELIVERIES

Light Artefacts | The Subtle Passage

For offerings light in form but never in significance.

Whisper-Class accommodates smaller home accessories, delicate finishing touches and eligible ceremonial pieces that can travel through standard tracked parcel services.

  • Examples: Gifting Scrolls in physical presentation, velvet pouches, cutlery sets, candleholders and vases

  • Weight: Up to 2kg

  • Order Range: £40–£200

  • Delivery Partners: Royal Mail, Evri or DPD (tracked)

  • Ritual Fee: £6.95

  • Estimated Dispatch: 2–5 working days

Tracking information will be provided where available once the parcel has entered the courier network.

Even the smallest offering deserves a considered arrival.

2. REFINED-CLASS DELIVERIES

Midweight Treasures | The Considered Passage

For artefacts requiring greater attention in handling, packaging and transportation.

Refined-Class serves the furnishings and interior pieces that sit between delicate accessories and large-scale ceremonial installations.

  • Examples: Lighting, framed mirrors, basin vanities, wall art, radiators and accent seating

  • Weight: 2kg–30kg

  • Order Range: £200–£1,000

  • Delivery Partner: Wave Logistics (Courier Tier)

  • Ritual Fee: £19.95–£35, calculated according to volumetric requirements

  • Estimated Dispatch: 3–7 working days, supplier-dependent

The applicable charge will reflect the item's size, weight, packaging requirements and delivery conditions.

Certain supplier-sourced pieces may require additional preparation before dispatch.

Where a material delay becomes known, we will contact you with an update.

Some pieces require more than passage. They require preparation.

3. CROWNED-CLASS DELIVERIES

Ceremonial Artefacts | The Sovereign Passage

Reserved for the Realm's most substantial furnishings.

Crowned-Class accommodates large, heavy and specialist pieces requiring dedicated freight arrangements or additional handling.

  • Examples: Sofas, ottomans, beds, wardrobes, bathtubs and complete furniture suites

  • Weight: 30kg–150kg+

  • Order Range: £1,000+

  • Delivery Partners: Two-person delivery or pallet freight via Wave Logistics

  • Ritual Fee: £65–£125, according to size, weight and delivery region

  • Estimated Dispatch: 10–28 working days, supplier-dependent

Crowned-Class artefacts may require extended preparation or sourcing periods.

Where applicable, our delivery partners may contact you to coordinate a suitable delivery date.

Please note: Two-person delivery or pallet freight does not automatically include unpacking, assembly, installation, removal of packaging or placement in a specific room.

Any additional services must be expressly confirmed as included in your order.

Customers should ensure that the delivery address is accessible and suitable for the dimensions and weight of the artefact.

Where specialist access arrangements are necessary, please contact us before ordering.

The grandest pieces do not simply arrive. Their arrival is considered.

Understanding Dispatch & Delivery

The estimated dispatch periods above refer to the time required to prepare and release an order to the relevant delivery partner.

They are not guaranteed delivery dates.

The final delivery timeframe also depends on the courier's transit schedule, the destination and any supplier-specific requirements.

Where an individual product page or checkout confirmation provides a specific delivery estimate, that information should be considered alongside the relevant Shipping Class.

Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, we will comply with the applicable legal requirements for delivery, including the general 30-day rule under UK consumer law.

If we cannot fulfil an agreed delivery timeframe, we will communicate the available options and respect your statutory rights.

Split Deliveries

Orders containing multiple artefacts may arrive in separate consignments.

This may occur where products originate from different suppliers, require different Shipping Classes or become available at different times.

Where an order will be fulfilled in stages, we will notify the customer when reasonably practicable.

Split delivery does not automatically mean that a separate delivery fee will be charged for every consignment.

II. ETHER'S MARK

An Offering of Complimentary Passage

As an act of refinement, eligible orders exceeding £500 receive complimentary standard delivery.

This benefit applies to:

  • Eligible Whisper-Class orders

  • Eligible Refined-Class orders

Crowned-Class deliveries are excluded from the complimentary delivery threshold.

Their specialist handling and freight requirements remain subject to the applicable Crowned-Class Ritual Fee.

The £500 threshold applies to the eligible order value under the applicable checkout conditions.

Where an order contains both Crowned-Class and other eligible artefacts, the applicable delivery charges will be shown or confirmed before the order is accepted.

Complimentary delivery does not automatically include optional premium services, specialist installation or other separately quoted services.

Some journeys are bestowed by the Realm itself.

III. REALM CONDITIONS OF DISPATCH

1. United Kingdom Delivery

The Refined Home currently fulfils orders to eligible addresses within the United Kingdom only.

Delivery availability may vary according to the destination, courier coverage, product dimensions and specialist freight requirements.

Where an address cannot be served under the standard arrangements, we will advise the customer of the available options before accepting an order requiring alternative delivery conditions.

International delivery is not currently offered as a standard service.

The Realm may expand its reach in time.

2. Supplier-Dependent Preparation

Certain artefacts are sourced, prepared or dispatched in coordination with external suppliers.

This is particularly relevant to larger furnishings and Crowned-Class offerings.

Where a product has a specific lead time, that information will be communicated through its product listing, order correspondence or an agreed delivery arrangement.

Supplier preparation periods do not remove the customer's statutory delivery rights.

3. Delivery Charges

Shipping charges ordinarily apply per order, rather than per individual item, unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page or during checkout.

Where different Shipping Classes or specialist requirements apply within the same order, the appropriate delivery arrangement and charges will be identified before the order is accepted.

Additional charges will not be imposed after an order has been accepted without the customer's agreement.

4. Delivery Scheduling & Access

Certain large or specialist artefacts may require a scheduled delivery.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and notifying us of known access restrictions that may affect fulfilment.

These may include narrow entrances, restricted stairways, limited vehicle access or other significant obstacles.

Where delivery cannot be completed because of an address error or undisclosed access issue, any proposed additional charge will be assessed fairly and explained before further arrangements are made.

5. Tracking & Dispatch Notifications

Where tracking is available, customers will receive the relevant details following dispatch.

Tracking availability and the frequency of updates may differ according to the delivery partner and Shipping Class.

For large freight deliveries, scheduling communications may be provided directly by the designated delivery partner.

6. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances

Although we aim to dispatch orders within the published estimates, delays may arise from supplier availability, courier disruption, adverse weather or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where a significant delay affects an order, we will provide an update when reasonably possible.

Nothing in this policy removes a customer's statutory rights where delivery is late, incomplete or not performed as agreed.

7. Risk During Delivery

The Refined Home remains responsible for goods during delivery until they come into the physical possession of the customer or a person identified by the customer to receive them, in accordance with applicable law.

Customers should contact us promptly if an order is missing, damaged or delivered incorrectly.

8. Future White Glove Services

The Refined Home may introduce additional premium delivery services in the future.

These may include:

  • Enhanced two-person handling

  • Room-of-choice placement

  • Unpacking

  • Assembly

  • Packaging removal

  • Other specialist services

Such services may be introduced as a paid upgrade or an expressly stated membership benefit.

They are not automatically included in the current Shipping Classes unless specifically confirmed.
