The Kolvarr Hold is the latter.

Formed in solid mass and finished in Matte Eclipse, this Winter Rite seat does not offer comfort, nor does it encourage lingering. It exists to receive weight — briefly, deliberately — before stillness resumes.

Within the Kolvarr constellation, the Hold operates as the lowest point of rest. Not elevation, not authority — containment.

The Square Form
The more restrained of the two.
Edges are disciplined. Presence is compact.
Its geometry suggests boundaries — a seat for moments that must be kept brief, decisions paused rather than softened.
It is quieter in mass, lighter in cost, and more severe in posture.

The Circular Form
Heavier. Broader. More resolute.
The curve absorbs motion rather than resisting it, creating a sense of contained gravity.
It costs more because it holds more — space, weight, and pause.
Not comfort. Capacity.

Neither form decorates a room.
Both complete it.

Within the Winter Rite, The Kolvarr Hold is placed beside the Plane or the Pedestal — never centered, never styled. It exists as a supporting silence, not a focal object.

This is not seating for gathering.
It is seating for restraint.
